š§ Purpose & Function
The H2326 adapter sleeve is engineered for mounting spherical roller bearings with a tapered bore onto cylindrical shafts. The adapter sleeve allows secure and accurate mounting without having to machine a tapered shaft.
When the lock nut is tightened, the sleeve expands slightly, pressing into the bearing bore and gripping the shaft. The lock washer ensures vibration resistance by preventing the nut from backing off under operational loads.
